Beth discovered her love of genealogy through her father, who built a 115-name family tree with every family member’s name he knew. While Beth continues to research her family, she shares her knowledge through lectures, articles, her blog, and one-on-one assistance. She particularly enjoys speaking at regional conferences.
Her focus is Early American Genealogy.

- In 2012 Beth submitted an application to the Missouri State Genealogical Association on behalf of her ancestor, John Vanderstay, as a Missouri First Family Pioneer. This entailed documenting parent – child relationship from herself to John Vanderstay (five generations) and proof that he resided in Missouri between 1821 (Missouri Statehood) and 1860, the beginning of the Civil War.
